Explored the Yukon

We saw a lynx at less than 5meters away from us while exploring Lake Kathleen, we saw multiple black bears and witnessed a bear cub climb up and down a large tree, we saw a herd caribou, bunnies, wild horses, birds of prey and foxes.
We visited the Carcross desert and met two dogs without their owners. They followed us while we peaked the sand dunes. This desert blew my mind. I have never seen alpine trees, mountainous valleys and great lakes surrounding a desert before. It was a truly mystical experience.
Wildlife greatly outnumbers the human population of this territory. I felt so at peace and cannot wait to go back to scale these mountains. It is home to highest peaks in all of Canada
